Stanford Resourcing is the market leader in financial services-focused legal and compliance recruitment.
THE CHALLENGE
In order to grow awareness of legal opportunities in Australia, and to build relationships with legal professionals looking to live and work ‘down under’, Stanford partnered with their client, Australia’s leading independent law firm, to host an evening reception in London.
They asked us to deliver a LinkedIn campaign to attract a minimum of 30 legal professionals within a highly targeted and specific brief - reflecting the right in-sector legal experience - and to convert these leads to attend the reception.
THE RESULTS
57 high quality, sector specific sign ups, and a highly successful event which the client plans to repeat. Targeted data capture and list building. Significant uplift in activity on the Stanford Resourcing LinkedIn page.
THE STRATEGY
We worked with the Stanford team in Singapore and their clients in Australia to advise on sign up and event set up, platform set up and developing an impactful bank of creative. Being the first campaign of this type for Stanford, we were also able to advise on how to support the campaign with robust organic activity on LinkedIn.
With the audience very tightly focused for this campaign, most testing was centred around the creative and copy in the ads. We began the six-week campaign with bold, impactful ad creative, designed to stand out in the LinkedIn feed and resonate with those with an interest in a move to Australia. As the campaign moved on, the creative and messaging moved more towards the law firm, its staff and credentials, and in the final week the focus was on the London reception.
Beyond the advertising, and using our connections and experience from corporate life in London, we were happy to connect them with a legal events specialist and venue finder, to ensure that the event itself shone - the quality of the offer will always impact how effective the marketing is and we’ll always help influence beyond advertising where we can.
There were ample opportunities in this campaign for data collection and learnings, creating a stronger starting point for future campaigns.
