Pale Green Dot are a sustainability-driven fresh produce company working to close the food loop. They were quick to pivot from trade to domestic supply at the start of the 2020 pandemic, and whilst they had run a few ads in-house they wanted our help to achieve reliable, scalable success.

THE CHALLENGE

To establish a paid advertising strategy which enabled them to pivot successfully and grow their business online, scaling long term customer acquisition whilst lowering the cost per acquisition.

THE RESULTS

We were able to establish and scale the customer acquisition, achieving consistent new weekly subscription numbers and closely managing the CPM and CTR of ads enabled us to scale the account to a return on ad spend (ROAS) of X 24.

This demonstrated the appetite for the domestic pivot which then enabled pale green dot to launch a crowdfunding campaign to take the business to the next stage.

THE STRATEGY

We started with a small budget and limited creative on Facebook, but with rigorous testing and refining we were able to quickly find what resonated with the audience and scale. Implementing a structured funnel with fresh ads was key. The client was quick to react to results scaling the budget and also adding Google Ads to the mix to both build top of funnel and consolidate the retarget. A stable X 24 ROAS gave a good foundation to optimise and scale further.

As the ads brought traffic to the website barriers to check out were revealed. The client was responsive to feedback on their customer experience and we worked together to improve completed registration numbers and to lower bounce rates.

WHAT THE CLIENT SAID
